Login¶
Requirements¶
You successfully signed up to the Edge Device.
Procedure¶

Open the Edge Device UI by entering the IP address of the Edge Device in the HTTPS protocol into an Internet browser.

Accept the privacy warning and proceed to the "Sign in" screen.

Sign in with the credentials that you have entered during the sign up process. If you are the owner of the Edge Device, sign in with the credentials that you have defined when you onboarded the Edge Device to the IEM.
After signing in, the "Apps" screen of the Edge Device UI is displayed.
NOTICE
Failed login attempts
By default, if there are 5 consecutive failed login attempts without reaching the ResetTime of 15 minutes, access to the Edge Device UI will be temporarily blocked. In this scenario, you will need to wait for 15 minutes (BlockingTime) before being able to log in again.

Login via OpenID Connect
If enabled by an admin user of the Edge Device, the login option via OpenID Connect might be also available for logging into the Edge Device. You find information on how to configure an OpenID Connect client here.

Unauthorized access to applications
When an application is set up with a reverse proxy with enabled "Secure Redirection", attempting to access it without logging in will result in an unauthorized error. In such cases, the system will automatically redirect you to the login page. After successfully logging in, the device will then redirect you back to the app, rather than taking you to the default "Apps" screen.
NOTICE
If you have multiple tabs open in your browser and are prompted to log in, please complete the login process in the current tab. After logging in, refresh the other open tabs. If you switch tabs during the login process, you will be redirected back to the page where you originally started the login.
