Compatible IED-OS versions

The creator of the IED-OS version specifies which previous IED-OS versions are compatibale with the newest version. Only compatible versions can be updated to the new IED-OS version and only these versions are available from the Available Version drop-down list. For example, if your Edge Device has OS version 1.0.0 and the newest version that has been updated by the admin has version 1.1.1 but the creator of the OS version specifies that only IED-OS version 1.1.0 can update to this newer version, you will not be able to update the OS version. The OS version in the Available Version drop-down list is disabled in that case. When the admin synchronizes an IED-OS version with the IEM, without the creator having specified any compatible OS versions, all previous OS versions can be updated to the newest version.
