Product distribution options

Manage your app’ s availability with flexible distribution methods:

  • Public distribution (Marketplace onboarding): Make your app available to everyone by onboarding it to the Industrial Edge Marketplace. This is ideal for broad adoption and maximum visibility.
  • Private distribution: For a more controlled release, private distribution allows you to share your app with a select group. This comes in two main forms:
    • Share products with a specific Hub (Hub-to-Hub): Share your app exclusively with other designated Hubs. This is ideal for collaborative projects or offering your app to trusted partners outside your team.
    • Your own Hub Library: Keep your app strictly internal by making it available only to users within your own IE Hub. This is great for internal tools, departmental solutions, or pilot programs.
