Scope of Delivery

Overview

Version support

  • Patches and bug fixes are only available for supported versions, not for discontinued versions.
  • Unless otherwise stated, the version support applies to the versions n (latest version) and n-1 (supported version)
  • Updating to the latest supported version is strongly recommended

Update strategy

  • It is necessary to always update to the next higher version of a component first, even if multiple newer versions are available
  • Skipping a version might lead to an inconsistent and incorrect behavior

Phase out announcement

The Industrial Edge Management Initial Setup VM - ISO is no longer available for download as of October 14, 2024 to prevent new users from accessing an end-of-life system. While you can continue to use an already installed system, we strongly recommend that you begin planning to migrate to an alternative solution like:

  • IEM Virtual
  • IEM Pro
  • IEM Cloud
