12/25

  • Industrial Edge Hub

    • Unsubscribing from informational emails will become simpler, allowing you to manage your communications with ease.
    • App providers will be able to manage their app versions directly in the IE Hub, offering more control and flexibility.
    • The IE Hub will now showcase version-specific release notes for Device Applications, offering clear insight into changes in each version.
  • Industrial Edge Management Pro

    • We will introduce a new fine-grained access control, so that you will be able to precisely define which user can perform which actions.
    • The new user interface ("Discover new experience") becomes the default, marking the start of the old UI's ("Previous design") deprecation period.
    • Functionality transitioned to the new user interface: Job status page, publishing of self-developed Device Applications, log download and log settings.
    • IEM integrated compatibility check: Before installing a Device Application, you'll be informed about compatibility with your device and already installed apps (initially limited to Siemens applications).
    • Storage management will expand to display Device Applications, giving you a comprehensive view of your data management.
    • You will be able to delete individual versions of Device Applications, enabling more efficient and granular storage management.
  • Industrial Edge Management Virtual

    • Hyper-V support will be added, expanding deployment options for virtualized IEM environments
  • Industrial Edge Control (IECTL)

    • Configure device settings with the CLI, giving you more control over device management.
  • Access Management: Redesigned access control in Industrial Edge Management — clearer roles, flexible permissions, and streamlined sharing for smarter user and resource management.
